Vets Volunteering At Furry Friends Farm

ABOVE : Dr Tan and Dr Wong, volunteer vets at Furry Friends Farm

It is a very encouraging move to have two wonderful private vets in making efforts to contribute the time on their off days at Furry Friends Farm. Furry Friends Farm is a platfrom to nurture younger generations and to motivate people to lend their helping hands in removing the unnecessary sufferings of the strays especially.
Responsibility,Dedication and Commitment plays a key role to the success of Animal Welfare work and Furry Friends Farm is working towards this direction to build a more responsible society in caring for Animals.
Dr Tan and Dr Wong started their routines in visiting Furry Friends Farm every fortnightly since November 2009. They are the first team of vets to show their concerns on the welfare of animals in a sanctuary in Selangor.

Dr Wong's careful handling of one of the rescued black puppies and thorough check up of the puppy before vaccination was captured in this video.
The black female puppy was found by Mr Yong who was carrying the puppy in the video. This stray puppy was alone when Mr Yong saw her in Klang. At that moment, the puppy was so afraid and trying to escape from the attacks of a group of crows. Probably, the crows had mistaken this black puppy as a rat !
