UPDATES ON JASPER - We Are Rooting For You !!!

Dear Readers,

Thank you so much for your all your warm wishes and prayers for Jasper. Thank you for rooting for Jasper. We know you would be anxiously waiting praying and waiting for his recovery, here we provide you the updates so you can follow together on his progress to recovery.

13 September 2009 : Sabrina visited Jasper in the morning. Jasper was asleep but woke up when Sabrina approached. He seemed to recognise Sabrina's voice and stood up firmly and wagged his tail excitedly and tried to lick Sabrina's fingers as she greeted him. He was still heavily bandaged. The vet said Jasper was doing well. Let's hope for the best and pray for Jasper's quick recovery.

14 September 2009 : It is the 6th day of Jasper's admission to the veterinary centre. Dr. Kiew showed Sabrina some photos of Jasper. One quarter of the open skull is covered by new grown tissues. Jasper is healing well.

19 September 2009 : More good news. Today is the 10th day of Jasper's admission to the clinic. 3 quarters of the open skull is already covered by new grown tissues. He has put on a lot of weight too !

It is AMAZING that Jasper's eye has healed itself despite the horrific injuries which had caused its blurred vision at the beginning. Sadly, his left eye was too badly damaged and cannot be saved. Jasper has lost his left eye. He will be "handicapped" without his left eye permanently !

Our Brave Jasper Is On The Road To Recovery

06 October 2009 : Jasper's determination to survive has not only touched the hearts of the vet and all the staff at the veterinary clinic where he is being treated, but has also been a guidance in out lives that :

"Nothing is impossible. We ought to be courageous to face all difficulties and never give up during hard times."

07 October 2009 : Jasper is doing very well with the tender loving care from all the staff at the clinic. He has put on a lot of weight too !
