In June, Furry Friends Farm was alerted by a Chinese lady who happened to have spotted an abandoned dog being tied in an empty double storey terrace corner lot house in Pandan Jaya, Kuala Lumpur. Attempts had been made by the lady to report to the local shelter but was given the reply that the officers were very busy ....

The Vacant House In Which Walnut Was Found Abandoned

After a few days, the Chinese lady tried to inform  Furry Friends Farm. An immediate investgation was carried out by Furry Friends Farm's supporters to locate the house and the volunteers found a not very friendly , white and brown male dog being tied with long chain at a very filthy porch. The following day, arrangment was made with the coordination of a vet clinic's assistance and a vet student from UPM (University Pertanian Malaysia).

Furry Friends Farm has named this male dog, WALNUT.Walnut will be examined for heartworm, to be neutered , dewormed and vaccinated.
