Snow White & Her Six Kittens

Stray cats and new born kittens are very common in sight in Malaysia.
Here we were on one Saturday early morning, along the silent corridor by a Steamboat Restaurant next to the main road in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, a pretty snow white mother cat, Snow White, was seen coaching her 6 beautiful one-month old kittens.

The kittens are really adorable but in their innocent minds, road dangers do not exist.
Will the mother cat quick enough to rescue the kittens once they fall or step out of the corridor ?
The pretty mother cat will be conceiving again in a few months time. What will happen then ?

Yes, there will be lots and lots of unwanted litters around and perhaps dead carcasses due to road accident or illnesses.

The only way to control the overpopulation of stray cats is to neuter the mother cat and remove her and her kittens from the busy surroundings.

Efforts have been made to bring the pretty mother cat and her six kittens to the nearest vet by good Samaritans.
The mother cat and kittens are now under Furry Friends Farm's Cat and Kitten Fostering Programme.

Thank you so much to the supportive Cat Volunteers in Petaling Jaya in participating in this programme. 3 of the kittens were so lucky to be adopted before the family goes to the foster home in Petaling Jaya.
