Jim, A Stray Male Cat With FIV, Found A Home At Furry Friends Farm
A stray male cat, suspected of being injured badly after an accident was spotted by Trudi, a volunteer from Ireland, UK. As the poor cat was walking from under a table to another in the Teh Tarik mamak shop, hoping to receive some attention, nobody in the coffee shop seemed to care about this cat. As soon as he reached under the table of Trudi and Fab as they were having their meal, a pair of kind, warm hand reached him ! Yes, Tudi and fab had made the decision to rescue him from his misery.
This male cat was named Jim and he was immediately admitted to the vet clinic. Upon examination, Jim was diagnosed with severe injury in his hind led, but it was an old wound within where the bone was not properly formed causing his hind leg to be crooked.
Jim was later admitted to another vet clinic in Puchong and was confimed to be have the FIV (Feline Immunideficiency Virus). Since Jim is too weak to be castrated, as he is left skin and bone when first seen in the coffee shop, a recuperation needs to be carried out to ensure that he gains back his normal weight. Jim came down with bad diarrhoea and bad flu while hospitalization in the Puchong vet clinic, however, his WILL to survive and the Tender Loving Care from the vets and assistants in Puchong had made him pulled through.
Now, Jim is back to Furry Friends Farm and he is being isolated from the other FIV cats until he is fit enough to socialize with other cats.
Watch a YouTube video of Jim, waiting for his turn at the vet clinic as Sabrina showers him with some love and attention ...
