Furry Friends Farm's Successful Fostering and Adoption Programme : Featuring Laika
Laika As A Puppy At Furry Friends Farm
In November, 2009, a stray female puppy was found in Kuala Lumpur and delivered by animal rescuer to Furry Friends Farm.
This friendly puppy was then being fostered by our dedicated volunteers from Subang, Hoe and Sharon. It was then being named Laika.

A Cosy Life For Laika At Her Home With Hoe And Sharon
Laika is one of the lukiest puppies where she is being showered with lots of love and tender loving care in a warm home.
As she grows gradually, she behaves mischeiviously and starts to bite things at home.
When Laika reaches maturity, she was sent for spaying after being given all the vaccinations required and dewormed accordingly.
We are very glad to watch Laika's progress in her fostered home and the happiest moment arrived when we were being informed that Hoe and Sharon had decided to adopt Laika.
Laika During One Of Her MKA Training Sessions
Laika has grown to be a very Big Dog now. She is so lucky to be given the opportunity to attend to the Malaysian Kennel Association's obedience training programme.Laika went through all the obedient training and finally prepaared herslef for the Obedience Examination carried out by the MKA.
We notice that Laika is the only stray mongrel to have participated in the examination.
A Proud Moment For Hoe And Laika
What a Wonderful Day for Laika ,Hoe and Sharon when Laika was proudly receiving her certificate in passing the examination.
We are very proud of a Rescued Stray Puppy to have successfully presented herself in the obedience training. It is proven to us that stray puppies are nodifference from pedigrees. The Tender Loving Care and the efforts in bringing up a stray puppy in a loving and warm environment are the key points in treating all kinds of puppies and dogs.
We would also like to Thank Sharon and Hoe to have taken the initiatives and efforts in proving to everyone that stray puppy also can be a Good Dog as Pedigrees!!
