Furry Friends Farm Successful Rehoming Programme : Myan-Myan Walking Into Her new Phase In Life
Myan-Myan was a cute little puppy when she was spotted by animal lovers in Klang four months ago.
To participate in Furry Friends Farm LACES (Love and Care for Every Stray) Programme, animal rescuer has to humanely remove the friendly stray from the street and bring the dog or puppy immediately to the nearest vet or to any private vets whom the rescuer feels comfortable with.
The stray dogs or puppies require the following medical checkup:
1) To detick or deflea
2) To vaccinate
3) To deworm
4) To check for heartworm (for dogs reaching one year and above ) and to provide heartworm prevention if the animal is negative with heartworm test
5) To neuter if the dog has reached 6 months old.
Myan-Myan was sent to a private vet and was found healthy to be neutered and she was also estimated to be 6 months old then.
The rescuer raised fund herself from her family members, friends, working colleagues, neighbours, relatives and her employer to pay for Myan-Myan's medical bills. Myan-Myan was finally ferried to Furry Friends Farm.
After arriving at Furry Friends Farm, the rescuer participates in Furry Friends Farm Programme, namely RM1 A Day To Keep A Dog From Being A Stray. And Yes, Myan-Myan is very lucky to be supported by everyone and she has a good stay at the farm for almost four months.
Myan-Myan lead a very happy life at Furry Friends Farm where she had all the freedom, to meet up with many furry kids and be loved by all volunteers.
