From The Streets To The Movies : The Tale of The Talented Snoopy, Rescued From The Streets In Rawang, Selangor

Snoopy, a stray male dog about 4 years old, was found wandering along the corridors of shoplots in Rawang, one morning in March 2011. He was suffering from severe mange.

He was removed and sent to the vet clinic immediately for treatment and castration later. A very well behaved dog but not very friendly with some male dogs, Snoopy has been vaccinated, dewormed and heartworm prevented.

We were very delighted to be invited by MM2 Entertainment, a joint venture company between Malaysia and Singapore, to participate in a movie where a stray dog is needed in one of the scenes.

This marks the first time ever a furry kid was brought to experience the shooting in a movie where Snoopy successfully played his part well in allowing more than 20 times of repeated  actions.Though Snoopy was showing his impatience later but his unexpected well behaved manner had confidently made us proceed with the shooting without any worries.

We are very proud for our stray furry kid, Snoopy, to be able to socialize with strangers and in the new environment plus still able to follow simple instructions even without any proper training.

A lot of patience and efforts was made to coax Snoppy during the shooting time. Amazingly, although Snoopy was removed from the street and had been staying at Furry Friends Farm for only 3 months, he has shown his confidence in following Sabrina to the scene and to played his part very well too.
The weather was quite cooling during the night around 9.30pm and we completed Snoopy's shooting part in 2 hours time. The fine weather was a bonus for us as we felt more relax during the shooting time.

Exhausted as we were, Snoopy received a token of RM200 for his Hard and Wonderful Job !!

Snoopy will be enlisted as one of the Furry Friends Farm's Ambassadors and we will be making arrangment for his Birthday party and crowning of his Ambassador's title later.
