Animal Welfare Education Programme : Featuring A Visit From Aspirasi Tuition Centre
Animal Welfare Education Programme at Furry Friends Farm is very much supported by teachers from Aspirasi, a well established, well known tuition centre in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. A total of 71 students between the ages of 7 to 12 attended the Animal Welfare Education Trip at Furry Friends Farm. Fun Learning is the key point in this programme.
Children learning how to approach and handle a puppy
Children were given the opportunity to interact with the rescued stray cats and dogs at the farm under the supervision of Furry Friends Farm's volunteers. We are very glad to have Trudy and Fab, two wonderful volunteers from Ireland, United Kingdom in assisting with this programme.
Teachers, parents and children learn a great deal in spending almost three hours in the farm. Feeding, cleaning, and playing with the puppies and a workshop to make toy houses for the cats are the activities involved in the Education Programme.

A female puppy, being named after the tuition centre, ASPIRASI is being adopted by the tuition centre.
Well, just to highlight that ASPIRASI is one of the puppies delivered by Rosie from the Kundang Hawker Centre where the litters of Rosie were being removed from the hawker centre recently. ASPIRASI will be the Resident of Furry Friends Farm, sponsored by the tuition centre in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.
Thank you to all Teachers and Parents from Aspirasi Tuition Centre in making efforts to have brought the children to Furry Friends Farm.
And A Big Thank You To All The Volunteers Who Had Graciously Participated In The Animal Welfare Education Programme !
