A Community Service Project For Moral Studies : Volunteers From Taylor's College
Everyday, Furry Friends Farm prepares 90 kgs of rice and 300 pieces of eggs daily for the 180 canines at the farm. Meals are prepared with tremendous effort, love and care to provide nutritrious and yummy food for the furry kids to enjoy and to stay healthy and happy. Furry Friends Farm is extremely grateful to volunteers and visitors who have supported the furry kids by spending their time and energy, by contributing rice and food, preparing delicious and nutritious food, cleaning and upgrading the farm to provide a better living environment; are among just the many kindness shown to these abandoned furry kids.
As the readers can see, although the task in providing a better life is not an easy feat with many obstacles at times, yet the happy faces of the furry kids as they run around playing at the farm after meals, are a testament to the efforts made by the volunteers of Furry Friends Farm in making sure the furry kids at the farm are happy, healthy and definitely well-fed as they are supported by many kind souls.
Here, we have 8 volunteers from Taylor's College, spending their time in support of the furry kids at the farm. The team led by Nikki Lai, were being guided to prepare clean bedding for puppies and to prepare food for all furry kids. Regular volunteers, Hoe and Sharon attended to the students with careful instructions given by Hoe during the food preperation. We are very thankful to Hoe and Sharon, who have been making efforts in contributing extra cooked rice, boiled chicken soup and freshly cooked chicken necks and chicken liver from home for the furry kids every Saturday. Their love to all the furry kids at Furry Friends Farm is greatly appreciated.
Students from the Taylor's College were exhausted at the end of the day but they had really enjoyed and realized the hard work at the farm. The moral study for this activity is to educate the students of the love, dedication and commitment to all the rescued stray dogs and puppies at Furry Friends Farm.
