Furry Friends Farm was officially registered as a private company on 4th October, 2006 under the ownership of Sabrina Yeap. The farm started in rescuing 10 dogs in 2006 and the number of furry kids, mainly dogs and puppies has increased more to 100 to date. The farm is only dependent on volunteers and from a solo volunteer in 2006, there are 6 dedicated volunteers now since the mid of 2007.

Furry Friends Farm will be starting our National Roadshow Campaign starting 1st August till end of 30th September 2010. We request readers from Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Pahang, Kelantan, Terengganu, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Sabah & Sarawak to register with us at info@furryfriendsfarm.org.my
Petition forms written in English & Mandarin will be sent to the readers to carry out the roadshow within their own district and state. All signatures collected must reach us, in Selangor by the end of September.

An Embarassing Moment For Crystal Caught On Camera ...
Furry Friends Farm is very fortunate to receive supporters in assisting with the upgrading of part of the main entrance to the farm. Here we are, at the newly completed washing area, under a shaded tree. Food bowls are being washed and left to dry on the table but there is a furry kid, Crystal resting on the table. Crystal is a very young female dog, about one year old. She was rescued from Cheras, Kuala lumpur and was spayed, vaccinated and heartworm prevented before coming to the farm. She is a very special furry kid which loves to climb over fencing and jump onto tables and she really behave like a cat. She can sleep for hours on the table and she likes to walk around the table. Today, she tries to balance herself on the table but....... Ooops! What An Embarassing Moment ...

Otters Holding Hands : A Touching Story of Nyac
This adorable and cute video was taken at Vancouver Zoo of Nyac holding hands with another otter.
Unfortunately, Nyac died after as diagnosed with chronic lymphocyte leukemia a few days before her death. She was one of the last surviving sea otters from the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill. Nyac came to the Vancouver Aquarium in 1989 as one of the few young survivors of the oil spill. She not only survived the traumatic event, but she overcame incredible odds and became the only known survivor to have successfully had a pup. So even in death, Nyac will continue to provide vital information on the long-term effects of oil exposure.

We are very glad to discharge Jasper from the clinic after for almost 8 months of recuperation. A gorgeous 'boy' he is ! After one final check-up by Dr. Kiew, Jasper bids farewell to the loving team and heads home to Furry Friends Farm. Thank You to Dr. Kiew and his wonderful team for showering their love and attention to Jasper and for doing such a great job !
