Jojo - The 2nd Ambassador of Furry Friends Farm

A cute male puppy at the age of 3 months was accidentally rolled over by its Guardian's tyre when the Guardian reversed his car from his house.
The puppy was soundly asleep under the car. It was then sent to the vet clinic by its Guardian.
After being informed by the vet that the front limb needed to be amputated, the Guardian had intentionally abandoned the poor puppy at the clinic without paying for any medical bills.
The poor puppy did not realise that he would have to face the fate of euthanasia and still awaiting for his Guardian to visit him.
A conversation was heard by the puppy and he raised up from his sleeping position to show the lady who was looking at him by the cage his painful bandaged limb.
The lady petted him and said to the vet, " Please carry out the surgery. This pup will go to Furry Friends Farm. "
Funds was raised to help this puppy and his life was secured. After his recovery from the surgery, this pup was sent to Furry Friends Farm and was named Jojo.
Jojo is very happy at the farm since living at the farm for the past 18 months. He played with his pal as normal and can run as fast as his normal friends !
Jojo will be appointed as Furry Friends Farm's second Ambassador soon.

Jewel - The 3rd Ambassador of Furry Friends Farm

The Story of Jewel

A stray female dog was seen following an Indian sweeper everyday in Taman Wahyu, Off Jalan Ipoh. This dog met with two accidents but she survived with lots of pain and still carried out her life with her injured bended hind leg. She had become a very close friend with the Indian sweeper so much so that the Indian sweeper would not forget to pack a bag of food for her during lunch time. The Indian sweeper had even partitioned off a small corner in the children’s playground as shelter for this dog.

One morning, this stray dog went out to greet city council’s dog catchers. A Chinese family happened to pass by and immediately stopped the dog catchers from looping the dog.  The Chinese family rescued this injured dog and called Furry Friends Farm. We named her Jewel. After she was sterilised and vaccinated with the sponsorship from the Chinese family, she was brought to Furry Friends Farm by the Chinese family and the Indian sweeper.

Jewel had an operation lately to amputate her right bended hind leg.  She is very much happier now after the amputation and hopping around as before!
